Oxymoron
A restaurant and café in the style of the 1920s: Oxymoron offers superb quality and regional produce at fair prices
The salon and lounge restaurant Oxymoron in the Jugendstil courtyard at the front of the Hackesche Höfe starts the day as a breakfast café, then switches to business lunches with a value-for-money midday menu. There is also a selection of cakes from Rabien’s confectionery. In the evening, the elegant salon serves cuisine with a Franco-Italian touch, a well-chosen selection of wines from all over the world (especially Germany, France and Italy) and about 60 assorted cocktails.
Interior architecture in the style of the 1920s
The entrance is reminiscent of the original 1920s interior – a spacious salon with brass chandeliers and hand-made wallpaper. The lounge, with its beautiful lights in the style of Art Déco, is modern, bright and unfussy. The Oxymoron can also be booked for exclusive company or private events.
